If the client requires it, we will apply a contactless delivery:
We’ll deliver the item(s) to your threshold, i.e. the front door of your home or apartment or your building lobby, based on what works best for you. Our team will not enter your home.
We will call you when we arrive and let you know when we’ve delivered your furniture. If we see you, we will wave a hello (ensuring we maintain a safe distance).
Your signature won’t be required — we will take pictures of the items and require a text confirmation that you received the items.
Some multi-unit buildings are restricting access to non-residents and we are supportive of these measures. Please check with your building prior to our arrival as an unsuccessful delivery will incur a fee.
Are all Rentchester products available for contactless delivery?
The majority of our items are available for contactless delivery. Most items will come fully assembled, though there are some that may require screwing on legs or tabletops.
Some items may require a 2-person lift, so keep this in mind when browsing our products.
How can I prepare for my contactless delivery?
We recognize that each building or living space is unique. Once you place your order, our account management team will reach out to you to determine the nuances of your space.
Some questions to prepare for include:
Does your building lobby or loading dock allow deliveries?
How much space do you have outside the door to your apartment (in your hallway or your floor) for the furniture to be placed?
What other spaces or alternatives exist in your building if we do not have enough space right outside your door?
Our team will determine the safest and least invasive place to place your items as close to your front door as possible. Rest assured, we will work with you to figure out the best solution.
Is there a maximum number of items I can order with contactless delivery?
There will be no maximum on the number of items per delivery. For an especially large delivery, or an especially limited threshold, the team will work to find creative solutions to allow for enough space to make the delivery.
Do I need to be present for contactless delivery?
Yes, we require that you be home to receive your delivery. Depending on the entryway to your home, you may want to start taking your items inside as our team places them in your entryway, always while keeping a safe distance.
Once our team has finished delivering your items, they will text you that your delivery is complete and you will assume responsibility for the items.
How will all my items arrive with contactless delivery?
The vast majority of your items will arrive fully or partially assembled so you can easily move the item from your entryway into your home. For items requiring partial assembly, you will only need to take 1-2 steps to complete the assembly (screwing legs into a sofa base, for example).
The Rentchester team will be available to assist virtually with any questions and support you with the assembly.
Are you still doing pick-ups and swaps?
Yes. However, in an effort to protect against COVID-19, all swaps and pickups will be contactless when possible. If a pickup or swap requires an in-home visit, please let your account manager know that you’ll require an in-home visit.
What other precautions do you have in place to protect against COVID-19?
In these times of uncertainty, our main priority is ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the communities we operate in. In addition to observing our new contactless delivery protocols, our delivery team have implemented a number of precautions recommended by health authorities.
Our furniture goes through a diligent refurbishment process before it is loaded on our delivery trucks. All hard surfaces (wood, metal, marble, leather, glass and hard plastic) are meticulously wiped with disinfectants. All upholstery and soft fabrics are steam cleaned at high temperatures.
All our delivery trucks are equipped with sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, latex gloves, and face masks.
Our delivery teams have been trained to clean their delivery trucks multiple times a day, and sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting your home.
Our team has been instructed to stay home if they show any flu-like symptoms, or if they have been exposed to anyone with symptoms.

Kontomatik is an entity authorized by the competent authority to offer this type of services, who will also implement the technical and legal measures necessary to protect your data. In this regard, it is important to note that neither Kontomatik nor Rentchester will access your username or password.
Are there monthly minimums?
Yes, the minimum order is € 65 per month for a minimum of 3 months. However, you can contact us if you have any special request, we will do our best to find a solution.
How does my Rentchester subscription work?
The process is very simple:
Choose on our platform the furniture and subscription´s duration that works for you.
Wait and relax. Your furniture will be delivered and assembled in just 7 days.
Total flexibility. Decide what to do at the end of your plan: buy, extend, swap or return them when life or tastes change.
We will contact you at the end of your subscription to know your decision. We are sure that you will love the experience.
When will I be charged? When does my subscription officially begin?
During your checkout process, we'll collect the first month's subscription payment. After that, your monthly subscription fee will be charged on the same day of the month that your furniture is delivered, starting one month after your delivery date.
What if I need to cancel my subscription before the original end date?
No problem, we are aware that circumstances may change. If you need to cancel your subscription early, simply do it through your account or contact us and we will adjust your subscription according to the months that you have actually enjoyed the furniture.
What happens if I need to move during my subscription?
Furniture can never be transported or handled (assembly/disassembly) by someone outside Rentchester. Simply contact us and we will take care of the disassembly, transport and assembly of the furniture to your new home. The costs of such services will be paid by the member.
May I change one or several furniture items during my subscription?
Yes, let us know and we will organize the transportation. Keep in mind that it will have an additional cost depending on the quantity and type of products you want to change.
What happens at the end of my subscription period?
Ending your subscription is very simple. Before the end date, we will contact you to know your decision among the following options:
Buy the furniture: you can buy-out your subscription for retail price, minus the amount you've already paid toward the particular item in subscription fees.
Extend the plan: continue enjoying your furniture for a few more months and we can apply a personalized discount.
Change the plan: return all or some of your furniture and choose new ones.
In case you have finished with your subscription and want to return your furniture, we will coordinate with you to pick them up on the date you indicate.
What payment types does Rentchester accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, during the checkout process, after defining your plan, we will show you an electronic contract with the specific terms and conditions of your subscription.
Can I request an invoice?
If you need a detailed invoice you just have to notify us when filling up your billing information during the checkout process or by contacting us directly by phone or email.
How do I update my billing information?
If you need to make any changes to your payment or personal data, you can do it from your account directly on Rentchester platform or by communicating it to us and we will do it for you.
How long is the subscription?
Your plan lasts what you want, from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 36 months (if you need more or less time you can contact us and we will take care of it).
Do not forget that at the end of your subscription, whatever the duration, you can buy, renew, change or return your furniture.
Can I make changes to my order before delivery?

Can I have more than one subscription?
Of course! You can have as many plans as you need. Each plan will be different and personalized to suit your circumstances.
What if I want to buyout my items?
If you have fallen in love with any of our furniture and want to keep them, the purchase option is very simple, you can do it at the end or in the middle of your subscription.
You can notify us through your account on the platform or by contacting us via phone or email.
How much does delivery & pickup cost?
Delivery, assembly, disassembly and collection are completely FREE, we do not charge anything more than your monthly fee.
What is the delivery experience like?
After defining your subscription, we take care of preparing your order and we will bring your furniture to your home on the date and time slot you indicated. Our team will contact you before shipping, and you only have to open the door to assemble the furniture where you prefer.
How quickly do I receive my furniture?
Your items will be delivered and assembled on the date and time slot that you indicate, we will need a minimum period of 7 days to prepare everything.
Do I need to be home on the delivery date?
We need someone to open the doors for us, if you cannot be there, do not hesitate to ask the favor to a relative, friend or trusted person to do so. In that case, you must tell us beforehand to avoid confusion.
How does pickup work?
We will contact you before the end of your subscription in order to know what you want to do with your furniture. If you decide to return it, we will contact you to agree on the date and time slot for collection.

Of course! Just get in touch with us and you can come see us, have a coffee and be able to touch the products before ordering them.
Does your furniture ever end up in landfills?
Never. Our furniture is designed to last many years, they all go through cleaning processes and small repairs, thus extending the life of the same.
Ultimately they are donated to organizations with which we have agreements, there is always someone who can continue enjoying them.
How often do you update your catalogue?
As we are increasing our network of collaborators we update our online catalogue. If you have a furniture store or factory and want to collaborate with us, do not hesitate to contact Rentchester.
In what status do I have to return the furniture?
From Rentchester we ask our customers to enjoy and take care of the furniture as if they were theirs, we understand that furniture may suffer a normal wear due to its use, but if we find any damage beyond the normal wear, it will be the client's responsibility and we will get in touch with him to solve it together.
Does Rentchester offers an insurance for its furniture?
Currently Rentchester does not offer any insurance on our furniture, although we recommend that you contract it yourself. It is always better to prevent, because of what might happen.
Is a deposit required to subscribe to Rentchester?
No, no deposit is necessary. Everything is charged through a single monthly fee in which everything is included.
What happens if I accidentally break or stain an item?
It is better if you let us know to give you a series of tips on how to clean or repair them yourself. If Rentchester support is necessary, we will analyse it on a case-by-case basis to understand which is the best solution.
Keep in mind that you are always responsible for what can happen to furniture in your home. We want you to enjoy them as if they were yours, but also to respect them in the same way.
Is your furniture friendly for homes with pets?
Of course! Our furniture is suitable for any family member or friends, we want you to enjoy them as if they were yours. We only ask that you also respect them as if they were yours.
How is the furniture cleaning process?
Whenever a member has enjoyed a piece of furniture, whether for 1 month or 24 months, it goes through an exhaustive inspection and cleaning process in which we will clean any stain or spill and fix any small damage or imperfection so that it continues to comply with our quality and cleaning standards.

What if I want a piece that is not in Rentchester’s catalogue?
